RADER RACING KENNEL’S BAE SANG SETS PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB NEW 301-YARD SPRINT COURSE
West Palm Beach, Fl. - After breaking Palm Beach Kennel Club’s 301-Yard Sprint Course track record during an unofficial schooling race on April 14, super-sprinter Bae Sang (Super Lee - Sang HWS) made it record-book official Thursday afternoon, April 25, as she devastated a field of seven others in an explosive clocking of 16.43 seconds.
The previous record of 16.47 seconds was established by Lou G’s Abbey (Dodgem By Design - Deco Doiley) set way back on September 9, 2006.
Before settling in on her 16.47 clocking, Lou G’s Abbey had previously broken the Sprint Course record four times (a record which stood since 1981) and in the process scored 12-consecutive wins on Palm Beach Kennel Club’s shortest distance, a record that stands till this day.
“I’m excited that I have a track record holder.”, said kennel operator Norm Rader. I always seem to get the records that don’t count. It’s nice to have one that’s officially in the record book.”
It should be noted the Rader Racing Kennel’s RK’sProformance (Gable Dodge - Daylight Express) set an unofficial 660-Yard Three-Eighths Mile Course record of 37.16 seconds on July 24, 2005. The official middle-distance track record stands at 37.29 seconds.
