Wheeling saturday Afternoon & Evening

Saturday Matinee:

Race 6 (Grade A): Three grade droppers are matched up – the two dog Mega Pixie, the five dog BMB Ya’ll Quit and the eight dog Cry Comal. Of the three, Comal appears to be boxed the best.

Race 10 (Grade AA): The favorites in this top grade test appear to be the one dog Cry Australia, who has won two out of his last three starts but prefers an outside post; the three dog Kiowa Hoss Hayes, an early speedster also with two victories out of his last three trips; the seven dog KB’s Try This On, who has had success breaking from outside post positions; and the eight dog WW Sweet Gilbert, with a pair of wins, a second and a third in his last four outings.

Race 12 (Grade AA): Several greyhounds should battle for the early lead, including the one dog Flying Lone Wolf, the three dog Bob Beckel, the four dog Kiowa Red Valley and the eight dog RS’s Locomotive. Two youngsters to watch out for are the two dog WW’s McWarp, who had a second in his first Grade AA race, and the six dog Revolution, a Mardi Gras invader who has back-to-back wins (B, A).

Race 14 (Grade TAA 3/8): This matchup looks like a battle between the four dog Shot At Stardom, who recently won six straight trips on the backside, and the one dog WW’s Tear Down, who returns to 3/8 after competing in sprint races since his third place finish in the middle distance stake in July. The six dog Love Shack also goes back to the longer distance where she has displayed both early speed and late finish.

Saturday Evening:

Race 4 (Grade B): The eight dog Logan Mankins has been stellar in his seven career races, especially from outside post positions. He has a nice rush to the turn and bottom coming home. The race features a pair of grade droppers in the one dog Epicenter and the six dog WW Wise Crack.

Race 10 (Grade AA): The two dog WW’s Creamery is running as well as any Grade AA racer at the track. She has two wins, three seconds and a third in her last six sprint starts. Equally as hot is the six dog RC Outlaw, with three victories, a second and a third in his last six races. The five dog Cry Poseidon has back-to-back top grade wins, but from the one hole, while the eight dog Train Track has captured three out of his last four starts (C, B, A).
