ROB GRONKOWSKI WINS PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB’S $20,000 GALLAGHER / KINNAIRD PUPPY STAKES!

West Palm Beach, Fl. - The Puppy Pro Bowler, known in Greyhound racing  circles asRob Gronkowski, lived up to his namesake as he devastated a field of seven other finalists to win Palm Beach Kennel Club’s Labor Day running of the $20,000 Gallagher / Kinnaird Puppy Stakes.

The “Gronk” was first out of the starting box and the battle was on for supremacy for the lead entering the backstretch.

As it turned out, the biggest threat for the Gronk was his own Rader Racing kennel mate, Vagrant, followed by the only Greyhound to beat the Gronk in qualifying, Relativity.

But Gronkowski was not to be denied. He dug in his paws and muscled his way to the lead.

Racing fans who had wagered on Gronkowski to win were already making their way to the mutuel windows to cash their tickets.

Kennel mate Vagrant, strong closer Superior Duneand Relativity finished second, third and fourth respectively.
