Race 8 (Grade TAA 3/16): Two greyhounds to watch are the one dog Flesk Flyer, who looked sharp in his second 3/16 effort, and the four dog AMF Can Can, who makes her debut over the shorter distance. Can Can won the sprint stake in July.
Race 10 (Grade AA): Battling for the early lead should be the one dog Jade’s Girl, the three dog Kiowa Hoss Hayes, the five dog Slatex Venetian and the eight dog WW’s Sally Field. Just off the pace should be the six dog WW’s Creamery, who has hit the trifecta ticket in nine straight races.
Race 12 (Grade AA 3/8): The four dog WW’s Tear Down came up a little short in his last trip and should take command early again. Challenging for the front will be the five dog Cry America and the eight dog Cashin Out. Coming late will be the two dog Kiowa Starstream and the three dog TMC’s X Factor.
Race 10 (Grade AA): Featured in this top grade contest are the one dog KB’s Santa Rita, who won her last start from the one hole by 4 lengths; the two dog WW’s McWarp, a youngster who has closing speed; the seven dog Lazy K Oak Hill, a consistent top grade finisher; and the eight dog Jumper Jack, a powerful rusher who should take the early lead.
Race 12 (Grade AA): The three dog RS’s Locomotive looks like the one to beat with a pair of wins and seconds and a third in his five trips since returning from Tristate. The seven dog WW Sweet Gilbert has hit the trifecta ticket in five out of his last six top grade races while the four dog Wheeling Ron and the five dog WW’s Herbicide have been consistent finishers.
